Agriculture and cow protection


ISKCON Mayapur maintains a group of happy cows that give milk for the Deity and devotees. None of these cows are slaughtered, even in their old age, but are protected with love till they die naturally.

The bulls symbolize religiosity, and they are similarly protected. They plow the fields and carry burdens here and there. The agricultural land is fully utilized to grow high-quality rice, vegetables, and flowers.
